Degrees:
Bsc, in Environmental Sciences (2013, Eötvös Loránd University)
MSc, in Environmental Sciences (2016, Eötvös Loránd University)
PhD, in Biology, specializing in ecology (2023, Eötvös Loránd University)
I completed my studies at Eötvös Loránd University, earning both my bachelor’s (BSc) and master’s degree (MSc) in Environmental sciences. I obtained my doctoral degree (PhD) in Biology, specializing in ecology, also at Eötvös Loránd University.
Following my doctoral studies, I began working at the Institute of Ecology and Botany (HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research) in Vácrátót, where I am currently investigating the ecological and societal impacts of the spread of invasive mosquito species in Hungary.
The current focus of my research is to understand host-parasite-vector interactions. Specifically, I am examining the effects of the West Nile virus, transmitted by invasive mosquitoes, on the population of great tits (Parus major) nesting in the National Botanical Garden in Vácrátót.
Furthermore, since 2016, I have been engaged in studying the behaviour of collared flycatchers (Ficedula albicollis) and examining the songs recorded during the males’ courtship period.
